SunWell Privacy Policy

SunWell (“SunWell”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how SunWell collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the SunWell mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, SunWell may collect or access the following information:

• Profile information, such as your name or nickname that you choose to enter.
• Health and fitness data, such as step count information, if you grant access through Apple Health.
• Motion and fitness data, such as step progress, if you grant access on your device.
• Location information, if you grant location access, to display local weather information.
• Calendar information, if you grant calendar access, to help sync upcoming appointments.
• Notification preferences, so SunWell can send reminders and alerts you request.
• Email recipient information, such as recipient email addresses you add for the Daily Email feature.
• App settings and usage data, such as goals, reminders, tasks, water tracking, medication tracking, and subscription status.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide core app features, including steps, medication, water, tasks, appointments, and weather.
• Generate and deliver the Daily Email feature if you enable it.
• Store your preferences and personalize your experience.
• Maintain subscription status and restore purchases.
• Improve app reliability, security, and feature performance.

3. Health Data

If you grant access to Apple Health, SunWell reads step count data only for features such as progress display and Daily Email summaries. We do not use Health data for advertising.

4. Location Data

If you grant location access, SunWell uses your approximate or precise location to show weather relevant to your current area. Location data is not used for advertising.

5. Calendar Data

If you grant calendar access, SunWell reads calendar event information to help you import or sync upcoming appointments into the app.

6. Email and Backend Services

If you use the Daily Email feature, SunWell may send relevant data, such as recipient email addresses, daily summary metrics, and related delivery information, to our backend service providers solely for the purpose of preparing and sending those emails.

7. Data Storage

Some information is stored locally on your device. If you use online features such as Daily Email, certain information may also be transmitted to and processed by backend services required to operate those features.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only:

• With service providers that help us operate app features such as email delivery or backend processing.
• If required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
• To protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the app.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the app’s features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

10. Your Choices

You can control or revoke permissions at any time in your device Settings, including:

• Health access
• Motion & Fitness access
• Location access
• Calendar access
• Notifications

11. Deletion Requests

If you would like to request deletion of your data associated with SunWell, please contact us at sunwell@woca.co.

12. Children’s Privacy

SunWell is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above.
